Smart system for condominiums and hotels

In the case of multiple apartments or rooms, it doesn't work well if each one remains a separate small smart home. That's why Yabune's architecture is different: a common, local server in the building, a thin client per apartment or room, and two separate interfaces – one for the resident, one for the operator.

One server in the building, one thin client per apartment

The control runs locally on the building's own network. Each apartment or room receives a thin client that connects the room's devices to the common server; this eliminates the need to build and operate a separate center for each apartment. The thin client fits in a cabinet or a distributor and works on the already established wired or wireless network.

For the resident: own interface, own scenarios

The resident accesses the same interface from their phone, tablet or browser and only sees their own apartment. They can adjust heating and cooling, manage lighting and shading, and create their own scenarios. They do not see or access their neighbor's devices.

For the operator: a central picture of the entire building

The operator can see the status of all apartments or rooms on a single interface and receive notifications if there is an error somewhere - for example, if a device fails or if a room cannot maintain the temperature. Consumption can be measured per apartment or room, so instead of a common cost, it can be settled based on real data, and waste can also be revealed.

At the hotel: Yabune Hotel Solution

In a hotel, the same structure is supplemented with a part tailored to the hotel: this is the Yabune Hotel Solution. We adjust the heating and cooling of the rooms to the occupancy, we notice the faulty device before the guest complains, and the energy consumption can be tracked per room. The operation of the system and the repair of errors are a continuous service, with our own customer service.

How to get started

For condominiums and hotels, we start with a survey: what is installed, what is the network like, what the building currently measures. This determines what can be implemented using the existing system, and what needs to be expanded.
